Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
Clinical care and rehabilitation of the patient, Pharmacology, Patient and work environment safety, Surgical and Internal diseases.
Objective:
To integrate patient care and related manipulations in accordance with the profession standard, nursing ethics, and the knowledge, skills and competences acquired during the 1st year of study and 3rd semester of the 2nd year of study. To apply positive communication skills to the care process of the patient, as well as working with his/her relatives and other team members. To base the practical activity on legal and ethical principles.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Observe the working hours of the placement and work in full; fill in the documentation of the placement, make mutual proposals on the quality and organisational content of the placement.
Assessment Criteria:
Seminar on the course of placement. Placement review - submission of "Placement II", defense of the placement - evaluation according to the developed criteria (published in e-studies), evaluation according to the RSU study regulations.

Skills:Practical skills in carrying out clinical procedures, including: enteral and parenteral input of medicines, sample collection for laboratory investigation, preparation of a patient before diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, carrying out surgical procedures.
