Assessment
Unaided Work:
Individual and group work - analysis of radiological images, including a description of examination technique, image type, and plane; description of the normal radiological image and formulating radiological conclusions.
Assessment Criteria:
Cumulative assessment consisting of - 50% attendance of study course classes and studying interactive content and 50% final examination in the form of a test in the e-learning environment.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:On successful completion of the course, students will have acquired the knowledge that will allow to: 1) explain the basic principles of various radiological techniques (X-ray, computed tomography, magnetic resonance, ultrasound, radionuclide imaging); 2) use radiological terms correctly; 3) distinguish between different types of images and examination planes of various radiological examinations; 4) know indications and contraindications of radiological examinations; 5) know the normal radiological anatomy.
Skills:On completion of the study course students will be able to: 1) use radiological terms; 2) distinguish between different types of radiological images; 3) recognize different organs in normal radiological images.
Competencies:On completion of the study course, students will be able to analyse radiological reports and images and to formulate indications and contraindications for different radiological imaging methods.
