Unaided Work: | • independent work with reading sources and preparation for the practical labs; Physical fitness level assessment, analysis and recommendations • scientific article analysis and preparation for the seminar; • individual independent work development. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | • active participation in practical labs (5%); • active participation in seminar (5%); • presentation of individual independent work (30%); • submitted physical fitness assessment, analysis and recommendations in written form (30%); •test in written form (30%). | ||||||||

Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | Understand importance of medical control for different groups of people involved in sports activities; can describe health related fitness level components and assessment methods; get to know specific sports injuries and other pathological conditions and can describe risk factors. | ||||||||
Skills: | Be able to assess and evaluate health related fitness level and advise activities for improvement; be able to recognise and assess sport injuries risk factors and create prevention plan. | ||||||||
Competencies: | Be able to assess and explain health related fitness level and recommend activities for improvement for people involved in sports or people who want to start physical activities; be able to recommend and use activities for sports injuries prevention. | ||||||||
