Final Examination (Part-Time): | Exam (Written)
Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | After mastering the study course (module) the student will be able to describe the concept of human health; to explain health promotion and prevention measures in cases of the most common diseases; to describe the organisation and financing system of health care; to describe the structure and main functions of the normal cardiovascular system, respiratory and nervous systems, as well as to explain the most common disorders of these systems; will be able to explain such pathological processes as inflammation, hypoxia, tumours, stress, fever, diabetes, dementia.
Skills: | As a result of the studies, the student will be able to apply knowledge about health promotion and disease prevention within their competence in very general terms; will be able to use the understanding of the functions of the human body and their disorders to solve socio-medical problems within the team in a very general way; will be able to apply care and assistance methods for people with mobility impairments.
Competencies: | As a result of the studies, the student will be able to analyse the bodily functions necessary for human functioning and their disorders, in the context of disability; will be able to plan and develop solutions to socio-medical problems within the team, according to their specialty.
