Objective: | To master the principles of writing Bachelor's thesis, to improve understanding of the methodology and methods of scientific research, to promote knowledge of the development of methodology of the Bachelor's research, choice and application of research methods, structure, progress and completion. | ||||||||

Assessment | |||||||||
Unaided Work: | Selection and analysis of literature and information sources. The development of Bachelor thesis` application and defence. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | Bachelor's thesis application development – pass/fail. (It is assessed whether the student has developed, correctly described, formulated and interrelated all sections of the Bachelor's thesis application, including the quality of the list of scientific literature used for the development of the Bachelor's thesis application). Bachelor's thesis application presentation – pass/fail. (The student's ability to present the Bachelor's thesis application sections, their interconnection, ability to discuss the scientific and practical aspects of the Bachelor's thesis is evaluated). In order to pass this course, the student needs to pass both assessment criteria. | ||||||||

Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | As a result of the study course students know the basic principles of writing a Bachelor thesis, its main elements and the ethics of scientific work. Students are able to describe the structure of the research methodology and stages of the research process, define the aim, tasks, types of research methods, their nature and necessity. | ||||||||
Skills: | As a result of the study course students will acquire academic writing skills, will be able to develop research structure and stages of research organisation, as well as independently apply appropriate research methods in different fields of business research. | ||||||||
Competencies: | As a result of the course students are able to carry out high quality scientific work. Students will be able to develop a Bachelor's thesis application according to the chosen topic, to identify and use the necessary information sources, to be able to apply research methods and interpret the obtained results. | ||||||||
