Preliminary Knowledge: | Successful study course “Methodological foundations for scientific work”, selected subject of bachelor's work. | ||||||||
Objective: | Encourage students to carry out a scientific study and defend the results of a study on health sports topics by implementing the approved scientific apparatus successively. | ||||||||

Assessment | |||||||||
Unaided Work: | Choosing a work topic; development of the scientific apparatus of the work in cooperation with the supervisor of the bachelor thesis; Obtaining permission from the Ethics Commission (if necessary); work development, according to the work schedule; development of the final thesis based on the current regulations on the development and defense of final theses, as well as the methodological instructions on the development of final theses attached to the study course and other regulatory acts. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | In order to receive the mid-semester test, students must present to their supervisor a completed literature review and list, as well as an introduction with a full-fledged scientific work and an inventory and description of the methods used in the work. In the second semester of the bachelor's thesis development, a pre-defense is organized, during which the student must defend the previously submitted draft of the thesis, as well as create presentation material. In case of successful pre-defense, the student is recommended to advance the work for defense. | ||||||||

Knowledge: | Knows the conditions of conducting academic research, the importance of interpretation and analysis of research results. | ||||||||
Skills: | By successfully completing this course, students will develop their skills in conducting independent research and will be able to demonstrate: 1. Understanding of the research organization. 2. Skills in independent research in the problems of implementation of health sports and physical activities, which include the selection and justification of the research topic, setting goals and tasks, formulating the research question, choosing the research data acquisition and analysis method, finding scientific literature, writing and designing the scientific research, research presentations and discussion skills. | ||||||||
Competencies: | Understanding of research paper development. Improvement of work presentation and presentation skills. Ability to independently analyze and present the results of research work. Understanding research current affairs in health and sports science. Development of a bachelor's work plan. Principles of research project application preparation.
