Preliminary Knowledge: | On the need for physical activity in health prevention and care. The desire to be physically active and the opportunity to engage in outdoor physical activities. | ||||||||
Objective: | To promote students' physical activity in the open air by improving biomotor abilities as well as to acquire competencies for the benefit of the future society and patients / clients. | ||||||||

Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | As a result of mastering the study course the student will be able to: • tell about different exercises and types of classes outdoors, their application to strengthen health; • provide knowledge about the possibilities of using bungy pump and Nordic walking sticks in gymnastics and training endurance and strength; • present the methodology and use of aerobic training, strength endurance training, flexibility and balance exercises outdoors; • provide information on the content of various outdoor sports activities; • explain the importance of proper breathing when performing various exercises; • explain the possibilities of improving the posture by performing technically correct exercises outdoors. | ||||||||
Skills: | On successful course completion the student will be able to: • use aerobic, strength and muscle stretching exercises to strengthen health; • control own muscle work, dose the load; • follow own well-being, control your heart rate during sports; • to use various gym equipment, environment for developing and strengthening body muscles outdoors; • create presentations of different types of exercises and exercises: lap training, interval training, high intensity training. | ||||||||
Competencies: | Using the acquired knowledge and skills, students will be able to evaluate the types of various sports activities and the benefits of outdoor activities, promoting the improvement of their health and physical fitness. | ||||||||
