Unaided Work: | Prepare literature and research overview about one of the topics from course. The overview shall emphasize importance of the topic, the available reserach results, discussion and conclusions. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | Grading takes into account the attendance (30%), individual work (30%) and examination grade (40%). | ||||||||

Knowledge: | Understand the importance of nutrition in musculoskeletal system disease prevention and treatment. Uses the knowledge for patients and their relatives education about the principles of appropriate nutrition. | ||||||||
Skills: | Uses the acquired knowledge in practical work, carries out patient and their relatives education. Understands the differences of nutrient deficit and the opportunities for prevention. | ||||||||
Competencies: | Assess patient’s nutrition anamnesis and evaluate the existing nutrition problems within the musculoskeletal system disease prevention and treatment. | ||||||||
