Assessment
Unaided Work:
Work with relevant literature, practical work with information search and compilation, making calculations and interpreting the results, making a presentation on a particular topic.
Assessment Criteria:
Independent and practical assignments, seminars, test, presentations, exam (written). The total grade of the course will consist of marks for individual assignment (10%), test (10%), presentation (20%) and exam – (60%).

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:On study course completion students will be able to identify the main elements of healthcare system and describe the financing methods; be able to specify and describe the main methods of economic evaluation in health care, as well as to explain the principles of system for reimbursement of expenditures for the acquisition of medicines.
Skills:On study course acquisition students will be able to identify the necessary data and use it to calculate specific economic indicators applied for healthcare.
Competencies:On study course acquisition students will be able to analyse and interpret the obtained economic indicators, evaluate the tendencies of healthcare system development and suggest the solutions to possible problems, justifying their opinions.
