The European Association of Schools of Occupational Medicine (EASOM) was founded to promote the highest standards of education and training in occupational medicine in Europe. This can be achieved through the exchange of knowledge, skills and experience of teaching and training between participating schools.
EASOM actively organises international meetings and conferences and holds an annual summer school to promote sharing of knowledge and experience of teaching within Europe.
The summer school will this year take place in Riga, Latvia, from 29 to 31 August. The topic is Teaching Occupational Cancers: Exposure Prevention and Return to Work.
