Assessment
Unaided Work:
Independent learning of the methodological material of the basics in physical aspects of ultrasonography in the e-studija environment. Familiarize yourself with the patient's clinical data and history. Detailed visualization of the examined organ (simulation device) and case interpretation. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria:
Completion of the study course will be evaluated according to OSKE standards: participation in USG visualization of clinical cases and evaluation of clinical cases.
Final Examination (Full-Time):Exam
Final Examination (Part-Time):
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:As a result of the study course, students acquire additional knowledge in ultrasonography of abdominal and gynecological organs, as well as in ultrasound visualization of the most frequent anomalies of these organs in obstetrical and gynaecological emergency, in order to determine more frequent causes of bleeding and pain.
Skills:Practical skills working with ultrasound equipment and simulator. Application of different probes, modes and settings. Ultrasonographic normal anatomy of small pelvis and organs of abdominal cavity, as well as visualization of these organs in a case of anomaly.
Competencies:Students will be able to apply the acquired knowledge and skills in emergency obstetrics and gynecology, as well as be able to confirm the viability of pregnancy, determine the gestational age by ultrasound, localization of gestational sac and rule out multiple pregnancy.
