Preliminary Knowledge:
Skills and abilities to use literary language and terminology; preliminary knowledge of logic and psychology.
Objective:
- promote students' skills and abilities to select information, analyze already written documents and other sources, expressing thoughts clearly, simply and reasonedly in the correct Latvian language. - learn the skills and abilities to develop a convincing and effective presentation. Develop skills to present information accurately, succinctly and convincingly, using visuals and other materials. - as far as possible, reveal the weakest points in your rhetoric and presentation skills, improve contact with the audience (client).

Assessment
Unaided Work:
Group projects, case studies, discussions and public speaking, presentation preparation, including involvement of participants in tasks and exercises, solutions for various real communication situations, modelling of situations, role plays and video analysis. Discussion on the accomplishments. Answers to specific questions, solution of the situation in the view of the lecturer and the group.
Assessment Criteria:
- active participation in classes; - doing homework; - exam – written test; - attending lectures is mandatory; - attending seminars is mandatory (if they are planned); - the student is not admitted to the exam if homework is not submitted (within the specified time and in the specified quality); - 25% of the total evaluation consists of participation in lectures and seminars, 25% of the total evaluation consists of homework, 50% – the exam.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:- As a result of successful completion of the study course, students understand the nature and role of the presentation. - By studying the program, students will understand the basic principles of modern presentation, and will also have acquired practical skills in creating presentations and will know how to choose the most appropriate visual means of presentation in order to have a maximum impact on the audience.
Skills:As a result of successful completion of the study course, students: - orients himself in presentation issues; - able to be confident, free and safe during the presentation; - knows how to use means that enhance the impact of speech, including the use of keywords during the presentation, which are important for the successful transfer of information to different audiences; establish good contact with the audience, lead and involve them during the presentation; answer audience questions and overcome objections.
Competencies:As a result of successful completion of the study course, students are able to use what they have learned in practice.
