Assessment | |||||||||
Unaided Work: | Students draw up an evacuation plan at a site; action in case of disaster based on a specified casus; demonstrate respiration activities. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | One report should be submitted and an assessment of at least 55% should be received in the study course before the examination. The examination should be passed in the electronic environment at the end of the course and an assessment of at least 55% should be received. In case of unsuccessful assessment, action in accordance with RSU Academic Regulations I follows. The final assessment depends on the examination result (95%; report – 5% of the final assessment). | ||||||||

Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | Students have an idea of a civil protection system in the world, knowledge of legal regimes in an emergency and state of exception, in other similar situations. Knowledge of the types of disaster, threats and inherent injuries caused by a disaster, specifics of communication in case of disaster, current legal matters in environmental protection. | ||||||||
Skills: | The student is able to act in a disaster situation and to provide emergency assistance; skills in providing information in a disaster situation, planning of civil protection measures at an institution. | ||||||||
Competencies: | The student is able to understand the conditions causing a disaster and to act accordingly. | ||||||||
