Preliminary Knowledge: | Basic computer skills, basic knowledge of legal theory and personal data processing. | ||||||||
Objective: | To introduce the students in depth to the application of regulatory acts regulating data processing in police work. Provide knowledge in the field of data protection, especially when conducting pre-trial investigations and operational activities. Promote students' understanding of the structure of information systems and databases, their operating principles and requirements in the field of data protection. To develop and strengthen the knowledge and skills of each student in the selection, acquisition, processing and storage of information. | ||||||||

Unaided Work: | According to the assigned independent task, the necessary information systems are identified, the need for data processing is justified and the data categories necessary for the task are selected. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | Successfully completed tests make up 50% of the exam grade, participation in independent work 30% and attendance at lectures 20%. Overall 100%. | ||||||||
