Preliminary Knowledge: | It is necessary to acquire knowledge in advance by studying study courses and subjects: "First aid", "Police law", "Professional physical training", "Criminal studies", "Criminal law", "Shooting training". | ||||||||
Objective: | To give knowledge and skills in crisis management, strategic planning, management, process that prevents possible risks, ensuring the continuity of the organization's activities with planned management. You will learn about crisis management teams, which coordinate and manage the operation and information system before the crisis, during the crisis and after the crisis, as well as the principle of formation. | ||||||||

Unaided Work: | The independent work consists of a group project: analysis of situations, discussions and preparation of a public presentation. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | A student who has attended less than half of the lectures and has not successfully passed the intermediate test independently - the practical work - may not be admitted to the exam. The final grade of the course consists of a successful exam grade of 50%, the main criterion of which is the amount and quality of acquired knowledge, and independent work of 50%. | ||||||||

Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | Students will know the competence of the State Police structure, the main structural units in the management of crisis situations in the country; will learn the duties, rights and tactics of the State Police employees in crisis situations; will learn the basic elements of risk analysis and action tactics in situations of increased danger in order to be able to apply them in practice. | ||||||||
Skills: | Ability to apply the principles of strategic thinking; ensure operational and successful planning; the ability to act promptly to reduce the negative impact of the crisis; the ability to navigate the sources of legal regulation and independently find a successful solution to the issue related to the service task. | ||||||||
Competencies: | Students will be able to describe, formulate and communicate practical issues and offer solutions, perform problem analysis of practical issues; will be able to take professional responsibility and make decisions about performing and planning complex tasks; will be able to correctly qualify the offense and independently choose an appropriate model of action in the specific situation, adequately documenting the circumstances of the event; will be able to work in a team, as well as independently make a decision in high-risk work situations; plan and organize small group work in search and arrest situations. | ||||||||
