Objective:
To improve students’ knowledge and understanding of the basics of psychologists’ professional activity, human rights and work at a level that meets the requirements of higher education in psychology, creating an idea of the impact of psychologists’ professional activity, human rights and work standards and principles on the impact on the relationship between the person (client) and the employer, the employer and the state, the person and the state, emphasizing respect for human rights standards in professional communication and work with clients.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
A report analysing the current legal aspects of psychologist’s professional activity; Preparation for seminars by finding and analysing cases.
Assessment Criteria:
Participation in lectures and seminars (20%); a report (40%) analysing the current legal aspects of psychologist’s professional activity and exam (40%).

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Students have a good knowledge of laws and regulation and key literature and understand the importance of law in psychologist's professional work.
Skills:Students are able to identify and critically analyse the problem situation in psychologist’s professional activity, finding the necessary regulation and substantiating their opinion.
Competencies:Students are able to apply their knowledge in the field of law to solve a practical case, which is related to the professional activity of a psychologist, meeting the requirements of laws and regulations.
