Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
The level of knowledge and skills should correspond to the general secondary education standard in sports.
Objective:
Students’ theoretical knowledge and practical skills in teaching football techniques, organising competitions and judging. Ability to lead football classes in the scope of the general education school sports standard.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
To independently improve knowledge of football rules and referee signals, development of a training methodical plan-notes and independent work for improvement of technique methods.
Assessment Criteria:
The total assessment is summative: Leading a class; Practical regulations; Football rules and referee signals (test); Participation in competitions.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:1. Knows the classification of football technique and tactical methods. 2. Knows the methodology for teaching football techniques and tactics – teaching methods, study aids, forms of organisation of sports classes. 3. Knows football game rules and referee signals. 4. Knows the formative, summative assessment type, as well as self-assessment approach in learning football technique exercises and their performance.
Skills:5. Able to demonstrate football technique teaching and improvement exercises. 6. Able to plan class notes for using football exercises, teaching and improvement of technique methods. 7. Knows how to use football game rules within a practical game. 8. Able to practically use football technique methods.
Competencies:9. Can realise theoretical knowledge in practice, choosing independently appropriate exercises for teaching and improvement, determining the performance dosage and appropriate methodology. 10. To implement the form and content of sports classes in accordance with the basic safety principles. 11. Able to establish clear performance and growth assessment criteria and testing methods for students.
