Objective: | To foster professional competence of students promoting comprehensive general understanding of the principles of modern pedagogy and the nature of pedagogical work in teaching placement at schools and in the training sport environment. | ||||||||

Unaided Work: | Lectures, practical classes, independent learning, seminars, interim examinations, final examination – examination. Students’ independent learning is organised individually and/or in working groups. Student independently prepare for seminar classes and interim examinations. | ||||||||

Knowledge: | Will know: 1. Developments in the history and science of pedagogy. 2. Planning and implementation of the study process. 3. Knows the peculiarities of general development in the age of children and specific details of pedagogical work. | ||||||||
Skills: | 4. Able to explain and define current problems in teacher’s work and education and their causes, as well as able to plan their resolution in a targeted way 5. Able to discuss the contribution of pedagogical work to promoting the quality of life, demonstrating communication and cooperation skills. | ||||||||
Competencies: | 6. To identify individual learning needs, formulate clear and achievable study objectives, choose suitable study methods and develop interdisciplinary, individualised study approaches. 7. Analyses pedagogical situations of different nature, identifying support measures needed to improve pedagogical work. 8. Uses different approaches and methods in promoting the study process. | ||||||||
