Preliminary Knowledge: | In the 1st year of study, the professional bachelor's program "Sports science" was studied at the level of 4-10 points. | ||||||||
Objective: | To give students the opportunity to realize the need to develop in six areas of life (spiritual, social, emotional, physical, intellectual, professional) and to improve the skills to take responsibility for their personal growth. | ||||||||

Assessment | |||||||||
Unaided Work: | The study course provides for seven independent works: 1) table "Harmonic personality development" (2 hours), 2) worksheet "Love and human value" (2 hours), 3) presentation "EU" (4 hours), 4) task " Spirituality photo" (2 hours), 5) task "Coaching" (2 hours), 6) task "Gratitudes" (1 hour), 7) task about the book read (7 hours). Students prepare their independent works in accordance with the specified requirements placed in the RSU e-study environment for the study course, and submit them in the RSU e-study environment by the deadlines specified by the lecturer. Independent works "Coaching" and presentation "EU" also include work in groups during contact classes. At the end of the course, students must fill in a feedback on the study course and a study course evaluation questionnaire. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | Active participation in lectures - 26%, completion of all independent work - 74%. In order to help students take responsibility for their lives and what happens in it, to help develop self-organization, self-control and social competences, a system of term and "post-term" points has been created. All independent works must be prepared and submitted within the deadlines set by the lecturer in order to receive term points. If the student realizes that there are any problems with the submission of works by the deadlines (training camps, competitions, illness, work, etc.), it is necessary to communicate with the lecturer about it at least two days before the specified submission deadline, in order to agree on an individual deadline for submitting works. "Post-deadline points" are awarded for independent works submitted in e-studies after the specified deadline in a separate section. In the final assessment, the points for the independent works submitted within the deadline (maximum number of points for each work – 4) and points for the student's attitude towards the educational process (1 point for active involvement in every 2 contact hours) are added up. According to the total of all points, a rating is given in points. If the student also has "post-term points" for independent works, then they are added to the sum of points, however, with "post-term points" the evaluation in the grades can be increased by only one point, under the condition that the total number of points exceeds the number of points needed to receive the specific grade . For example, a student whose points and "post-term points" formula sum is 13+[9] = 22 will receive an assessment of 5 points instead of 4 or 6 points. Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | Students will be able to represent the six-dimensional model of harmonious personality development. Students will be able to name and recognize five love languages. Students will be able to describe the main differences between coaching and mentoring. Students will be able to name five 21st century basic supports of education. | ||||||||
Skills: | Students will have improved skills in time planning and setting personal goals. Students will have developed the skills to treat every person as a value, including themselves. Students will have improved the skills to create respectful communication with other people, perceiving relationships as a value and recognizing a reasonable freedom in the diversity of worldviews. | ||||||||
