Preliminary Knowledge:
Anatomy and physiology, pathological physiology, clinical pharmacology and medical care, transcultural patient care, general care.
Objective:
To provide the student with theoretical knowledge and practical skills on the nature of the hematopoietic system, immunological and musculoskeletal disorders, principles of their diagnosis, treatment and care, importance of patient education and disease prevention measures.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
To prepare a review of literature and research on the peculiarities of patient care in cases of rheumatic and connective tissue diseases, haematological diseases.
Assessment Criteria:
A 10-point system is used for the assessment of students' knowledge and skills, the criteria described in the RSU Study Regulations are used for assessment.

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:As a result of the study course completion, students will gain the necessary knowledge about the musculoskeletal system, hematopoietic system and immunological diseases and the principles of their treatment; will acquire the necessary knowledge about the care of patients of the musculoskeletal system, hematopoietic system and immunological diseases, the most common care problems and the activities of the nurse to prevent them; will acquire knowledge of the principles of education of patients of the musculoskeletal system, hematopoietic system and immunological diseases and their relatives; principles of proper nutrition; opportunities for quality of life.
Skills:As a result of mastering the study course, the student will be able to apply the acquired knowledge in practical work; to provide care for patients with musculoskeletal, hematopoietic and immunological diseases; to recognize and solve problems of care of patients of musculoskeletal system, hematopoietic system and immunological diseases; to educate patients and their relatives; to provide psychological support to patients and their relatives; to establish contact with patients and their relatives, taking into account their age, gender, state of health, personal characteristics and observing the principles of professional ethics and patients' rights.
Competencies:Using the acquired knowledge, the student will be able to assess the patient's state of health; to identify the needs of patients with musculoskeletal, hematopoietic and immunological diseases, to formulate existing care problems, to forecast potential care problems. As a result of mastering the study subject, students will be able to provide care for patients with diseases of the musculoskeletal system, hematopoietic system and immunological diseases in a medical institution, evaluate the results of care; to formulate and describe the principles of psychosocial care.
