Study course description
Preliminary Knowledge:
Leadership and management skills in nursing practice. Patient safety, rights, confidentiality, pedagogy in health care. Clinical pharmacology and medication care, basics of clinical care, clinical care, nursing process and nursing theories, interpersonal communication in health care, practice I, II, III, IV, V, psychiatry and narcology, general care, family medicine, neurology and patient care, Mental health and patient care, 1.-4. study courses defined in the Nursing program of the study year.
Objective:
Rotation clinical practice, the purpose of which is to strengthen the theoretical, professional knowledge, skills and abilities acquired in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th year of study, providing quality care to patients at different age stages. To ensure the quality and development of nursing practice, to implement an evidence-based nursing process. Implement person-centred care by educating patients and their family or legal representatives, educating nurses and other members of the health and social care team.

Assessment
Unaided Work:
To observe the working hours provided by the practice and to work in full. Develop and approve care documentation - method or educational program. Fill in the documentation provided for the internship, mutual suggestions about the qualitative and organizational content of the internship.
Assessment Criteria:
Practice review - "Practice VIII" and submission and defense of care documentation developed during practice. Evaluated according to the developed and published evaluation criteria (published in e-studies).

Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:Knowledge of planning and implementation of general and specialized patient care in general care nursing practice, according to approved standard of general care nursing
Skills:Implement evidence-based care, use a critical thinking approach to patient care. Plan and implement the patient education process in case of acute and chronic diseases.
Competencies:Ability to implement evidence-based care, ensure continuity of patient care process. Ability to ensure quality and development of nursing practice care. Ability to educate patients and other healthcare professionals. Ability to manage the resources necessary to provide healthcare work.
