Assessment | |||||||||
Unaided Work: | Theoretical preparation before classes, for learning the clinical skills included in the study course, using recommended materials, mandatory literature, Internet resources and e-study materials. Independent development of clinical skills in a simulated environment at MITC (RSU Liepāja branch). In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal.
Assessment Criteria: | Systematic testing of theoretical knowledge during lessons, all tests, tests, and independent assignments must be successfully completed. Mandatory 100% class attendance. Independent improvement of clinical skills in a simulated environment at MITC (RSU Liepāja branch). Three thematic colloquiums of the clinical skills test must be successfully completed. The exam takes place using accumulative assessment, in which knowledge, skills and competence are evaluated based on the results presented in tests, tests, independent works and thematic colloquiums in both semesters. The final grade of the exam was accumulated from a weighted average, of which 10% consists of attending classes and active participation in them, 10% independent improvement of clinical skills in a simulated environment at MITC (RSU Liepāja branch); 30% of the evaluations obtained in tests, tests, independent works and 50% of the evaluation obtained in the three thematic colloquiums.
