Assessment
Unaided Work:
The student carries out in-depth literature research in the library, working independently.
Assessment Criteria:
Ability to apply the knowledge and skills acquired in the study course, which are demonstrated by performing 3D scanning and 3D modelling of the scanned model.
Final Examination (Full-Time):Exam (Written)
Final Examination (Part-Time):
Learning Outcomes
Knowledge:• will be able to explain terms related to CAD-CAM technologies; • to describe the principles and use of a 3D scanner, 3D printer and milling machine; • to evaluate the patient’s functional status; • to compare products made using conventional methods and CAD-CAM technology.
Skills:• to perform 3D scanning; • to choose the most suitable/appropriate software to process scanned data; • to select and use available literature resources on CAD-CAM technologies; • to use terms related to CAD-CAM technologies.
Competencies:• applies the knowledge acquired about the principles of a 3D scanner, 3D printer and milling machine; • able to interpret and analyse data using CAD technologies.
