Preliminary Knowledge: | Skills in sports games at the Secondary school programme level. | ||||||||
Objective: | To introduce students to different sports games, including knowledge of the rules, basic techniques and the role of sports games in improving health and fitness. | ||||||||

Assessment | |||||||||
Unaided Work: | Learn the rules and exercises of sports games, their application, techniques for improving elements and developing physical abilities, literature indicated by the lecturer and independently acquired sources. Prepares exercises for learning the basic elements, improving them, presents them to the group. In order to evaluate the quality of the study course as a whole, the student must fill out the study course evaluation questionnaire on the Student Portal. | ||||||||
Assessment Criteria: | Examination - active participation in practical sessions (30%), tests on movement skills, basic elements of sports games (40%) (during the semester), written test questions on the topics covered in the sessions and the rules of the games (30%) (during the session). | ||||||||

Learning Outcomes | |||||||||
Knowledge: | Students: know the rules of the sports games; name and describe the basic elements of the techniques of the sports games; explain the role of the sports games in improving health; demonstrate basic exercises for learning the technical elements of the sports games taught. | ||||||||
Skills: | Students: select different exercises to learn the basic techniques of the sports games taught; understand and apply sports games in their daily activities to improve physical fitness and health; select appropriate elements of technique in game situations; explain the rules of the sports games learnt in game situations. | ||||||||
Competencies: | Using the acquired knowledge and skills, students will be able to apply sports games to strengthen health, improve physical abilities, use appropriate elements of technique and rules in game situations. | ||||||||
