RSU Summer School: looking at options for economic modelling in the healthcare system
From 20 to 24 August Rīga Stradiņš University is running an international summer school devoted to economic modelling in the area of healthcare.
The summer school gathers more than 40 participants – students of business management, economics, healthcare and social sciences, academics and researchers from universities in Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, Great Britain and Netherlands, government departments and healthcare establishments. During this week, consisting of intensive lectures and interactive seminars led by healthcare professionals, students are discussing and searching for solutions to problems in the healthcare system using economic modelling.
The summer school is organised by Rīga Stradiņš University Institue of Public Health in conjunction with the Baltic-German University Liaison Office supported by the German Academic Exchange (DAAD) with funds from the Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany. The summer school is associated with the RSU Master’s study programme “Health Management”.
