Andreas James McGregor

Andreas James Mc Gregor started his studies at RSU in September 2020 and is currently in his 2nd year of medical studies at RSU.

Andreas graduated from high school in 2013 and obtained Commercial Pilots License in 2016 from his native Republic of South Africa. He has undergone Safety Pilot and Flight Instructor training, as well as worked as a pilot in Indonesia providing local inhabitants of Papua with basic supplies. Andreas has also volunteered for Rotary South Africa and Team Tommy project in distribution of specialized wheelchairs for disabled children. His education and working experience along with the involvement in volunteer activities has improved Andreas’ communication and leadership skills. 

Currently, Andreas is a regular participant of RSU Open Days. His cooperation with RSU's International Department started right off the bat – he took part in May 2020 Open Days while being an applicant for studies at RSU. Since then he has been supporting activities of RSU's International Admissions Office and has joined multiple Open Day events to share his study experience and encourage prospective students to start their own journey at RSU.

Andreas has created video tutorials for prospective students of RSU in order to answer most topical questions and to help them to prepare for the application process, as well as life as a medical student. He is planning to make more videos and to continue to post them on his YouTube channel in the future.
