Collection and Resource Development

Main tasks

• Build the Library's collection and information resources
• Complete the Library's collection in accordance with RSU study directions and programmes and directions of scientific research work, in accordance with the documents regulating the collection
• Provide consultations to academic staff on the possibilities of ordering literature for the Library's collection
• In cooperation with the PIC, review and evaluate bibliographies of new or changed study courses and inform about the availability of literature in the collection
• Create an electronic catalogue of the University Library
• Create an analytical bibliographic database of the Latvian health care and medical sciences sector
• Enter digitised books of the Library into the RSU Institutional Repository
