Objective

The goal is to promote the student's ability to create a research plan, develop work goals, hypothesis and tasks, choose and apply research-appropriate data collection, processing and analysis methods, independently formulate and defend their conclusions, as well as give the opportunity to demonstrate the student's readiness to independently use the acquired knowledge and skills and competencies in solving academic or professional problems.

Prerequisites

From all study courses previously studied in the program.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

To deepen and strengthen the student's theoretical knowledge of the chosen topic;
promote the improvement of the student's practical skills by conducting research activities;
promote student involvement in the work of RSU scientific laboratories and scientific institutes.

Skills

The ability to create a research plan, develop work goals, hypothesis and tasks, choose and apply research-appropriate data collection, processing and analysis methods, independently formulate and defend one's conclusions, as well as give the opportunity to demonstrate the student's readiness to independently use the acquired knowledge, skills and competences in an academic or in solving professional problems.

Competence

Develop the ability to independently read foreign languages and analyze industry literature;
conduct research, statistically process research data and analyze the obtained results;
draw up a final thesis in accordance with technical, bibliographic and literary requirements.
