About Study Course
Objective
To provide students with new knowledge on the use of operational techniques, tactics and methodologies in the prevention and solving of economic crime.
Prerequisites
Prior knowledge of the process of operational activities.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the study course, students are able:
- to assess the optimal use of operational-technical means in the prevention and solving of economic crime;
- to explain the requirements of laws and regulations on the use of operational-technical means at national level and in cross-border cooperation;
- to study the optimal use of operational activities to achieve the objectives of criminal investigations.
Upon successful completion of the study course, students are able:
- to assess the possibilities of using technical means, operational activities methods and means to prevent and combat economic crime;
- to choose the appropriate form of cooperation in the use of covert operations and the involvement of covert assistants.
Upon successful completion of the study course, students are able to assess the operational situation and, depending on the objective to be achieved and the circumstances, are able to select the appropriate technical means and methods, plan tactically correct implementation of operational activities and assess the information obtained.
