Objective

To develope understanding of health care financing models and their impact to availability of health care and rehabilitation services, to develope basic financial analysis skills.

Prerequisites

Basics of economics.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Students understand the impact of the financing system on the provision of health care services, understand supply and demand in health care.

Skills

Students can analyze and interpret simple financial statements, prepare a company budget and identify possible sources of investment.

Competence

Students are able to critically analyze and interpret financial information in health care, are able to organize financial aspects in the course of implementing new rehabilitation services.
