General information
The Breast and Ovarian Cancer Consortia Meeting is an international multidisciplinary (members-only) meeting of BCAC (The Breast Cancer Association Consortium), CIMBA (The Consortium of Investigators of Modifiers of BRCA1/2) and ENIGMA (Evidence-based Network for the Interpretation of Germline Mutant Alleles). The meeting will gather together around 300 experts in the field from all around the globe. The consortia were established in 2005 and consists of researchers and clinicians from more than 85 different study groups, incorporating sites from Europe, North and South America, Australia, Asia and Africa. The overall aim of the meeting is to connect researchers and clinicians alike in the field of hereditary cancers, focusing particularly on breast and ovarian cancers and the BRCA/BRCA-associated genes.

Cancellations must be received no later than 11 June in writing (Meeting Secretariat conferencersu[pnkts]lv). Starting from 12 June no refund is provided.
In case of cancellation, a handling fee (6 %) will be charged.

Arriving by air at Rīga Airport
Rīga International Airport is only ten kilometres southwest of the city centre and is easily accessible by bus and taxi.

By bus
A great cost-savvy alternative to a taxi is available from Rīga airport to Old Town with Bus Line 22. The bus is direct from the airport to Downtown, taking 35 minutes to reach.
The bus stop at Rīga International Airport is located 300 metres from the arrival terminal’s exit, just beyond the car park. Once in Rīga city centre, you can alight at the Old Town stop, 11. novembra krastmala and 13. janvāra iela, or at Rīga’s Central Train Station.
The 90-minute ticket can be used by registering a trip in each vehicle used, the ticket costs € 1.50.

By taxi
The taxi stand is located directly outside the arrival hall.
The 20-minute trip from Rīga airport to the city centre costs around € 22.
Bus connections to Rīga
Lux Express is the largest passenger carrier in the Baltics, ensuring several daily departures from such cities as Tallinn, Tartu, Parnu, Vilnius, Warsaw etc.

Rīga Stradiņš University is located at 16 Dzirciema iela in Pārdaugava, on the left bank of the river Daugava. There is efficient public transportation network with routes directly connecting the University area with the city centre and many other neighbourhoods.
