About Study Course
Objective
To provide students with in-depth theoretical knowledge and develop practical skills in the implementation of criminal intelligence.
To provide an understanding of the operational principles and possibilities of the National Criminal Intelligence Model. Develop students' understanding of the amount of data required for criminal intelligence, data categories and data sources, especially the use of OSINT in criminal intelligence. Students should be able to choose the most effective analytical methods and products. Develop practical skills in developing various analytical products and defining tasks. To provide insight and practical skills in working with operational (case) analysis, as well as to understand the role of strategic analysis in criminal intelligence.
Prerequisites
Completed "Criminal Intelligence" course. Information literacy (ability to find, select, evaluate, manage and use information).
Learning outcomes
By completing the study course, the student will become familiar with the possibilities of using criminal intelligence. Will be able to practically apply various analytical methods and criminal intelligence products. Will be able to identify and select data and data sources required for analysis.
The student will be able to define work tasks to be performed and create various criminal intelligence products.
The student will be able to apply in practice the materials obtained as a result of criminal investigation, will be used as evidence in criminal proceedings.
