On Monday, 26 August at 15.00, the opening ceremony of the new 2024/2025 academic year will take place in the courtyard of Riga Stradiņš University (RSU) main building at 16 Dzirciema iela.
At the matriculation ceremony, we will welcome the newly admitted first year students, enjoy musical performances and let the new students experience the great atmosphere of RSU.

The event will take place outdoors. Please keep an eye on the weather and remember to bring an umbrella in case of rain. The RSU Student Union will treat the first-year students to cake.
You will have the opportunity to get to know the different sports teams at RSU where you can sign up to enhance your leisure time, as well as experience the energy and support of the RSU Student Union and the RSU International Student Association. The event will be a nice welcome to your new university and include some fun surprises!
