About Study Course
Objective
To promote the formation of a qualified and creative teacher by fostering a link between theoretical knowledge and practical activity, implementing the development of professional competence.
Prerequisites
Study courses mastered: Teacher’s Professional Skills, Social-Emotional Learning, Teaching and Learning in the Context of Diversity, General and Physical Activity Biochemistry, Foundations and Methodology of Volleyball, Foundations and Methodology of Gymnastics, History or Philosophy of Sport.
Learning outcomes
1. Understands the mission of the teacher’s profession.
2. Formulates open, cognition-oriented questions in personal experience in situations related to sports education.
3. Compares, interprets, evaluates, combines and groups simple information according to the given criteria.
4. Looks for verified facts, checks them.
4. Creates the line of reasoning based on personal experience and opinion about working with pupils of different ages and genders.
5. Formulates personal conclusions as directed.
6. Asks questions about the current situation and with a teacher’s support uses several creative thinking strategies. Gains inspiration from other people’s works to create ideas.
7. Independently sets a number of learning goals and plans his or her practical activity to implement them, both alone and in a group.
8. Critically analyses the reality created by the media and the credibility of information on sports education.
9. Complies independently with the rules set for oneself to be trusted and be relied upon.
10. Analyses personal involvement in education processes and act responsibly. Clarifies the consequences of own actions and assumes responsibility for them.
