About Study Course
Objective
To provide the opportunity to learn different non-traditional sports, their application and organisation for active rest, recreation of individuals, restoration of emotional, mental and physical abilities in the open air.
Prerequisites
General education study courses, as well as recreation courses in the specialisation, such as pedagogy, sports didactics, psychology, anatomy, physiology, first aid, recreation resources, outdoor activities and other courses passed successfully in the 1st to 4th years of studies.
Learning outcomes
To interpret and demonstrate critical understanding relating to scientific advances in organising and leading the study process, organising and leading events for non-traditional sports and recreational activities.
1. Knows how to choose the most suitable non-traditional sports and activities for the objective, age and gender characteristics and physical fitness.
2. Knows how to organise and lead non-traditional sports and activities.
3. Knows how to determine the impact of selected non-traditional sports and activities in the assessment of recreational efficiency.
1. Assesses and skilfully analyses the choice of non-traditional activities.
2. Understands the suitability of environmental resources in their implementation in the content of recreational events.
3. Skilfully uses non-traditional activities in planning, organising and leading practical classes for different contingents, selecting and applying appropriate didactic techniques.
4. Analytically formulates the nature and terminology of the subject.
