The Embassy of France, the French Institute in Latvia, and the Faculty of Social Sciences of Riga Stradiņš University are pleased to invite you to an engaging and highly relevant panel discussion, "War Economy and Defense Innovation: France, Latvia, and the Strengthening of Defense Policies in Europe". The discussion will take place on 30 September 2024, 16:00.
The discussion will feature French researcher Renaud Bellais, political scientist and researcher Una Aleksandra Bērziņa-Čerenkova, and researcher Vitālijs Rakstiņš.
This is a unique opportunity to gain in-depth insights into current events and ask questions to the experts. The discussion will be moderated by RSU lecturer Elīna Vrobļevska, with opening remarks from Ieva Puzo, Head of the Social Sciences Research Centre.
The discussion will take place at the RSU Main Building (16 Dzirciema iela), in the Senate Hall. The language of the event will be English.
