About Study Course
Objective
Creating students' understanding about the female genital physiology, women dietary peculiarities at the different periods of life.
Prerequisites
Human anatomy and physiology, pathology, internal medicine and surgical basics.
Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the study course students will acquire knowledge about female genital physiology; of the dietary role of women in different periods of life; learn about different food restrictions, impact of anorexia, bulimia on woman's health; acquire knowledge of the dietary recommendations of pregnancy, physiological birth period, woman`s health, who have recently given birth; dietary recommendations before and after surgeries; nutrition for women in the prevention of osteoporosis.
Students are able to compile and make recommendations for women planning pregnancy and during pregnancy;
Students are able to compile and provide nutritional recommendations for women before and after childbirth; pre-and postoperative period;
Students can provide nutrition recommendations for metabolic syndrome, ovarian polycyclic syndrome; provide nutritional recommendations for women at different stages of life.
Can compile a full and balanced diet for women planning pregnancy;
Can draw up a menu for women during pregnancy, before childbirth, during and after the operation;
Can compile a full and balanced diet for lactating women;
Can advise women about nutrition peculiarities in different stages of life.
