About Study Course
Objective
To learn different principles of project management, project planning, implementation and assessment in theory and practice.
Prerequisites
None required.
Learning outcomes
On successful course completion students will be able to:
• name main characteristics of projects;
• identify project phases;
• describe parts and essence of Work Breakdown structure;
• identify project risks;
• name and describe typical parts of project proposal.
Students will be able to use their acquired knowledge in developing project proposals within their areas of practice and solve problems that may occur during implementation of a project.
Students will be ready to apply project management methods in organizations and projects within their areas of practice contributing to the achievement of the UN sustainable development goal "Ensure healthy life and promote well-being for people of all ages" as well as lead small project teams within their areas of practice.
