About Study Course
Learning outcomes
1.On successful completion of the course, the students will be able to:
• list and describe urologic diseases, their aetiology and pathogenesis;
• explain diagnostics, principles of treatment and prevention of urologic diseases;
• describe up-to-date methods of clinical, laboratory and instrumental investigation;
• discuss surgical treatment methods and their indications.
1.On successful completion of the course, the students will be able to:
• collect complaints and anamnesis of urologic patients;
• perform examination of a patient with a urologic disease using palpation, percussion and auscultation;
• do urinary catheterisation on male and female (on moulage);
• do rectal examination (on moulage).
1.On successful completion of the course, the students will be able to:
• analyse the data acquired during the urologic patient examination;
• prepare necessary laboratory and instrumental investigation plan for the patient;
• interpret the data acquired by laboratory and instrumental investigation methods;
• formulate and justify a full clinical diagnosis;
• define indications for surgical and conservative treatment.
