Higher professional study programme Audiology and Speech Therapy student pedagogical and clinical internship in companies and institutions

Activities of the project

• Review and improve placement programme in accordance with professional qualification level
• Create and customize speech therapy technology aid compliance with the software used in the work process of a speech therapist
• Develop and prepare methodological materials, respecting the proposals and improvements made by the placement providers
• Provide quality student placement
• Set Children's Clinical University Hospital as the main place for students` clinical internship for practicing professionals, providing them with modern speech therapy technology aids and materials

The target audience is Riga Stradiņš University Faculty of Rehabilitation Speech Therapy Academic school professional study programme Audiology and Speech Therapy students

The project is implemented by RSU Speech Therapy Academic School in cooperation with Children's Clinical University Hospital, Riga 1st Special Boarding Primary School and Riga 3rd Special Primary School, Limbaži Consultative Children`s Centre, which are the cooperation partners of the project, as well as Valmiera School for the Hearing impaired and Centre for Hearing-Impaired, Valmiera Speech Therapy Centre
