Aim
Ensure placement in occupational health (labour protection) of students of Public Health faculty in accordance with the profile of the company, combining the theoretical and practical training of students in RSU Institute and Laboratory for Occupational Safety and Environmental Health
Description
Activities of the project
- Review and improve placement programme
- Develop methodical materials for students and placement supervisors for the implementation of placement, ensure study placement in different sectors of the economy, covering a wide scope of work protection and diversify the knowledge of students
- Update placement programme and recommendations in accordance with the system of the company
The target audience is Riga Stradiņš University Public Health faculty 3rd year students
Project partner is PSI Darba Medicīna SIA
48 students of faculty of Public Health were involved during the implementation, they got acquainted with work environment risk factors and assessment methods as well as performed practical work, assessing environment risk factors in 25 different companies in Latvia
