About Study Course
Objective
To promote the acquisition of in-depth theoretical knowledge in children's cardiology, to provide knowledge about the structure of the cardiovascular system, functional and structural features for children, as well as to build skills and abilities in the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of heart pathologies.
Prerequisites
Preclinical theoretical knowledge about the structure and function of the cardiovascular system; clinical knowledge in propaedeutics.
Learning outcomes
Upon successful completion of the study course, the student will gain in-depth knowledge and be able to navigate children's cardiology.
After completing the study course, the student will understand the etiology, pathogenesis, symptoms of heart diseases in children. Be able to evaluate the results of cardiac functional examinations.
After completing the study course, the student will be able to interpret the hemodynamics of heart pathologies, will be able to create an examination and treatment plan in cases of heart pathologies, will be able to interpret children's electrocardiograms.
