Objective

Acquire knowledge of the biological processes in an organism to understand the maintenance of human health and development of diseases, as well as to obtain necessary skills in order to use this knowledge in practice.

Prerequisites

Biology, chemistry at secondary school level.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

Upon completion of the course, students will have acquired basic knowledge of cellular and genetic processes in the human and genesis of pathologies.

Skills

Upon completion of the course, students will learn the skill to analyze microphotograph images of cells and describe observations and will be able to solve simple tasks in genetics.

Competence

Upon completion of the course, students will be able to analyse cases in medical genetics. They will evaluate the role of organoids in functioning of tissues, organs and the body.
