Objective

The Doctoral examination (in English/German/French) is targeted at assessing doctoral students’ international scientific competence.

Prerequisites

Doctoral students’ communication skills in a foreign language (in English/German/French) at B2 level and knowledge of specific terminology in the field of study.

Learning outcomes

Knowledge

The doctoral students demonstrate proficiency in a foreign language and specific terminology needed for writing the doctoral thesis and for research.

Skills

As a result, doctoral students can understand specific scientific texts, discuss and argue in a foreign language on the research theme, answer the questions; use the foreign language in writing the doctoral thesis and scientific articles for their publishing and also in collaborating with colleagues abroad.

Competence

Knowledge-based professional communicative and research competence to develop international scientific contacts in a foreign language.
