About Study Course
Objective
To study the specific character of transformation and the potential for the transformation of socio-economic systems in contemporary conditions. Special attention will be given to changes that are essential in searching for new forms, methods and ways to ensure sustainable development of national socio-economic systems and their balanced socio-economic growth.
The course will focus on the sustainable development of the socio-economic system and factors and conditions that determine the potential for transformation of systems.

Learning outcomes
Ability to demonstrate understanding of the specific character of transformation and the potential for transformation of socio-economic systems in contemporary conditions; ability to understand and demonstrate world practices and trends in development and implementation of national strategies for sustainable economic growth. As well as knowledge of analytical methods that help to determine transformational potential towards innovation and digitalization and their impact on business.
Doctoral students are able to assess independently economic aspects of transformation, factors and conditions of the transformational potential; to apply a border analysis to the development of the national socio-economic systems within the international framework. Doctoral students are able to interpret the reasons of socio-economic strategies in national states and their impact on sustainable transformation and economic growth, and to assess the impact of innovation and digitalisation on business as a result of the national transformation strategies.
Doctoral students are able to carry out an independent, critical analysis and apply economic methods to assess socio-economic systems, to evaluate economic parameters of transformation and to assess national and international strategies in innovation and digitalisation towards sustainable development.
