Knowledge
Knowledge of the dental hygienist role in promoting oral health worldwide.
Students recognize the strengths and weaknesses, potential benefits and dangers of using social media in (oral) health promotion and care. Understanding how to create and use social media to promote oral health across cultures.
Skills
At the end of the study course, students develop educational visual material about oral health problems and use the most appropriate and safe social media for publicizing information in English.
Competence
Able to apply the acquired knowledge in the promotion of oral health to various groups of society, competently and safely using social media.
