About Study Course
Objective
To provide students the opportunity to acquaint with and learn the terminology, classification, history of dance sport and folk dance, their development nowadays, exercise tools, dance foundations, figures, grips, holds, technical performance, creating a dance composition and didactic techniques.
Prerequisites
School and Preschool Didactics; General Pedagogy; Foundations of Gymnastics and Aerobics.
Learning outcomes
1. History of folk and dance sport and its development nowadays.
2. Means of manifestation in folk dance and dance sport, technique (steps, postures, groupings, combinations) for all degrees of education, teaching methodology (teaching methods, study aids, forms of organisation of sports classes).
3. Methodology of teaching and use of annual celebration practices, ethnographic dance, games in lesson content for all levels of education.
4. Knows how to demonstrate and teach dance steps, figures, postures individually and in couples.
5. Knows how to compose and demonstrate combinations of dance steps in harmony with music material.
6. Knows how to plan, organise, lead and include dance steps and combinations in classes according to the objective set.
7. Able to define the objectives of an individualised study process, to plan the activities of dance, dance steps and combinations according to the learning outcomes to be achieved.
8. Will analyse and evaluate the use of dance and dance steps in order to find an understanding of how to find feedback in work with children of all ages, pupils.
9. Able to creatively organise a study environment appropriate for the objective and tasks of studies, choose study aids in learning dance and dance steps.
10. Will carry out study work in the field of physical activity by applying the study content of dance and dance step combinations, encouraging the development of pupils’ competences, the transfer of knowledge in different contexts and practical applications.
