About Study Course
Objective
Ensure that having completed the course, students are able to use French for communication in daily life and work-related situations in accordance with the description of skills corresponding to levels A1/A2 of the “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment”.
Prerequisites
Without preliminary knowledge.
Learning outcomes
On completion of the study course, students will be able to: • know and use minimum vocabulary in French in everyday situations; • know the word order in narrative sentences and questions; • be able to differentiate between present, past and future activities; • be able to recognise the most often used language structures in French.
On completion of the study course, students will be able to: • find the needed information in the text and use the most often used phrases to start and maintain a conversation and to exchange information; • understand simple texts about everyday topics; • provide basic information about themselves, their relatives, living conditions and studies; • write an informal letter; • use the acquired language structures in everyday communication.
Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to use lexical phrases and language structures they have learned in everyday communication.
