About Study Course
Objective
To get a general idea of information search possibilities, library resources, services, terms of use, as well as improve the skills in searching for medical information in online databases and open access medical information resources, selecting and applying the obtained information in the process of writing study papers.

Not necessary.
Learning outcomes
After successful fulfilment of the requirements of the study course students will have mastered knowledge, which will allow:
• to tell how books and information in libraries are systematised;
• to explain where to look for help in information search issues;
• to define the significance of the obtained information for the study of the topic (problem) chosen by oneself, according to the professional field studied;
• to outline the Copyright Law and the ethical norms of researchers;
• to formulate the diversity and quality of information sources;
• to describe a creative approach in the preparation of study papers, using the latest technological resources.
As a result of completing the study course, the student will be able, based on an analytical approach, to perform practical tasks in the relevant profession:
• to use the resources available in libraries;
• to use information technology to search and select the necessary information;
• to prepare study papers;
• to comply with the Copyright Law and not to violate the ethical norms of researchers;
• to plan, write and draw up study papers, according to the requirements;
• to present the finished paper/research and defend one’s opinion on the chosen issue.
As a result of completing the study course, the student will be able to evaluate and apply library resources and the possibilities of the latest technologies in the process of writing study papers, independently prepare and speak in public, substantiate one’s choice of information sources for the research of the topic, comply with the Copyright Law and ethical norms.
