About Study Course
Objective
To develop students’ understanding of the law that regulates international business processes and to promote the use of the acquired knowledge in practical entrepreneurship and international business, observing the regulatory provisions.
Prerequisites
The course requires students to have prior knowledge of the basics of law and entrepreneurship.
Learning outcomes
After successful completion of the course, students will gain knowledge of the essential components of international agreements, the legal risks associated with international agreements, applicable law in international dispute resolution, the most appropriate methods for resolving international disputes, current developments in the international intellectual property law, and international investment law.
After successful completion of the course, students will analyse and evaluate the legal problems of international business related to the legal risks of international transactions: applicable legal norms, dispute resolution in international transactions; reasonably discuss current issues of international business law, make appropriate business decisions, observing the legal norms regulating international business.
After successful completion of the course, students will be competent to use theoretical knowledge and practical skills for analysing various situations in international business.
